What Helm will handle at launch

These are situations Helm is built to handle. Real customer stories are being gathered now.

In every one, the agent does the legwork and stops before anything is sent, signed or paid — that press is yours.

Local errands and admin

A parent’s birthday, remembered at 2 PM.

Finds bakeries in her town that can deliver a cake today, lays them side by side for you to pick, then fills in the bakery’s order form with her address and the words for the cake.

You check the order and pay.

A vehicle registration about to expire.

Reads the renewal notice you forward, finds the state’s renewal page, and fills in everything it can from what it knows about you.

You sign in, add your licence number and pay — Helm never types a password, an ID or a card number.

A charge on your internet bill you never agreed to.

Reads the bill you attach, finds how the provider takes a dispute, and writes it — the dates, the amount, what you are asking for — into their contact form or an email.

You read it and press send.

Travel and experiences

Tickets for a show that has not gone on sale.

Finds when and where they go on sale from the official seller, and puts the on-sale on your calendar with the link, so you are there the minute it opens.

You buy them at face value.

A ten-year anniversary trip.

Given a budget and a feel, lays out flights, hotels and restaurants side by side. Once you pick, it fills in each booking and drafts the note asking the hotel for a late checkout.

You approve each booking and pay.

Household and personal

The basement floods while you are on a flight.

Finds 24-hour plumbers near your home, fills in the booking request for the one you choose, and drafts the email asking your neighbour to let them in.

You send it from your seat.

A proposal at an overlook that needs a hard-to-get wilderness permit.

Finds how the permit and its cancellations are released, puts each release on your calendar, and fills in the application with your party’s details.

You submit it and pay when a permit opens.

A prescription dog food out of stock everywhere.

Finds independent pet shops that list it, and drafts an email to each asking whether they will ship it to you.

You send the ones you like.

Business and life admin

A year of receipts at tax time.

Reads the receipts you forward or attach as PDFs and writes them up as one table — date, vendor, amount, category — ready for your accountant.

You check it and send it on.

A sold-out vintage textbook.

Searches for copies for sale, lays out what it found with each price, and drafts the email making an offer to the seller you pick.

You send the offer and pay.

Helm is invite-only while we build it with its first members.
